Featured Project: Uplift Education Tech Expo
What the client wanted
Uplift Education wanted to capture the energy and the broad range of experiences for scholars at their annual Tech Expo event – a film that conveyed what it felt like to be there, not simply what happened. In addition, our client wanted us to help create a variety of interactive experiences to help expose their scholars to future careers in technology.
What we did
With four cameras and two drones we captured the event from multiple perspectives, bringing its scale, activities, and individual moments together in a cohesive recap film.
Our involvement went beyond filming. We helped design several interactive experiences for students, including holographic projections, a live interaction between Uplift CEO and her digital twin, various large-scale visualizations including virtual humans and a laser show. We also provided AV support and brought our DJ to serve as the MC for the event.

When should we bring you into the planning?
Ideally, while the agenda is still taking shape. Early involvement helps us plan coverage, identify interview opportunities, and coordinate with your venue and event team. If your event is approaching, contact us to discuss availability.
Can the footage support more than one video?
Yes. We can plan coverage for a main event film and additional edits for different audiences and channels. Discussing those uses beforehand helps us capture what each piece will need.
How quickly can we receive the finished videos?
We agree on delivery dates before production, based on the scope and your communications schedule. If certain edits are needed soon after the event, we plan for those priorities from the start.
Do you work outside Dallas?
Yes. Campus Reels is based in Dallas and works with clients nationwide.
